Dyersburg State Community College is a Tennessee Board of Regents institution offering:
-Academic programs that allow students to complete their first two years of college coursework at about one-half the cost of attending a public university. The savings are even greater when compared to the cost of attending a private university.
-Career programs that provide the training needed to enter the job market or upgrade current skills.
-Certificate programs that prepare students for jobs that are in high-demand.
Dyersburg State is known for its caring, talented teachers who are dedicated to helping students succeed. Through a variety of programs of study, the DSCC faculty and staff provide our students with individualized attention. To assure academic progress, all degree-seeking students are required to meet with an advisor before enrolling for courses. Advisors continue to guide students throughout their studies. Advising centers are located One Stop Centers located on the Dyersburg campus, at the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County and at the DSCC Gibson County Center.
