Even if your ultimate goal is a bachelor’s degree or higher, beginning your academic career at one of Tennessee’s Community Colleges is a wise choice. You can complete your freshman and sophomore years of college at a high-quality, affordable community college and then transfer to a four-year school to continue your education. Plus, starting out at a community college can save you thousands of dollars in tuition and fees compared to four-year universities.
Once you have an associate’s degree, Tennessee Transfer Pathway make it easy for students to transfer as a junior to a Tennessee Board of Regents, University of Tennessee or other participating institution to complete a bachelor’s degree. We also have many transfer articulation agreements in programs not covered by a Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
With the Tennessee Transfer Pathway’s “Transfer Admission Guarantee,” you can be assured your community college courses will be accepted and will count toward completion of your particular major.
Transferring to or from another of Tennessee’s Community Colleges?
The TTP’s Transfer Admission Guarantee also ensures that all courses will transfer from one Tennessee community college to another. For students transferring from out-of-state or private colleges and universities, previously-earned credits are evaluated and approved transfer credits applied to your chosen major at a Tennessee community college.
