Tennessee’s Community Colleges play an integral role in our state’s economic growth. From short-term certificate programs to customized, long-term initiatives, each of our 13 community colleges has developed innovative strategies to meet the needs of local, regional and state employers.
Collectively, Tennessee’s Community Colleges offer access to more than 350 workforce development programs, providing training for more than 1,500 industries and small businesses in the last three years alone. In that same period, more than 150,000 employees received training to develop new skills or improve the performance of their organization.
And for our nation’s military veterans, we provide opportunities to convert your military training into college credit. Other comprehensive education benefits are also available to help former service members turn their military experience into the opportunity for a new career.
